    Event Highlights

    The 2018 Budapest Innovation Summit speakers and panelists include prominent and renowned leaders in business, finance, private equity, consulting, economic policy and academia. This year’s roster is being assembled and confirmed but will be similar in caliber to previous YPO events.


    Patrick J. Sweeney II

    Patrick Sweeney is an entrepreneur, angel investor and world-record holder, Inc Magazine called him the world's most interesting man. After interviewing the world's top neuroscientists, neurobiologists and psychologists he has unlocked the secrets of fear and peak performance. He is on the Board of Trinity College Dublin and collaborates with the world's top universities on research for his book Fear as Fuel.

    Adam Anders

    Adam is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Anterra Capital, a venture capital fund focused on investing in innovative companies that are transforming the safety, security and sustainability of global food. Anterra is backed by Rabobank (the world’s largest food and agriculture bank) and Fidelity. Anterra is presently the largest food and agriculture innovation focused fund in the world. 

    Dr. Bertalan Meskó, PhD

    Bertalan as a healthcare speaker helps companies and governments worldwide in bringing science fiction to everyday healthcare. His enthusiasm for the future shines through every one of his motivational talks, supported by stunningly visual presentations customized to each and every event’s audience. 

    Vince Power

    Vince is on the board of Liri-Group an international firm engaged in payments fintech and blockchain. He has worked in financial services for 20+ years at the European Central Bank, The European Banking Association, SWIFT, Vocalink UK, and numerous Tier 1 banks. He was also the Global Head of Banking and Treasury managing the FCA regulated Skrill business, before it was sold to Paysafe Group for circa 1,2BN EUR.

    Jose Matthijsse is the Managing Director of Heineken Hungary. With an annual 20% innovation rate, a full innovation pipeline and a reliable, short time-to-market, these are the essentials for business success. 

    Yossi Ben Harosh

    Ben Harosh is the COO & GM of prooV, the world's first PoC-as-a-Service platform that facilitates and streamlines the Proof of Concept (PoC) process for startups and enterprises. He has over 25 years' experience as a senior executive with telecommunications, enterprise software and hardware companies. Currently serves as board director of Mobile SmartCity Corp and YPO Gold Israel.

    Dr. Paul Simak

    Dr. Paul Simak is the CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of CIB Bank, the Hungarian member of Intesa Sanpaolo Group. Prior to this, he was serving as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of MKB Bank and worked as a partner for McKinsey & Company in Budapest and the CEE region focusing on many banking projects.

    Zoltán Györkő

    Zoltán Györkő, Co-founder and CEO of Balabit and has been a member of the board since the company was founded in 2000. Zoltán a deep knowledge of the IT security market, and was previously responsible for developing Balabit’s global partner network as well as the sales and marketing organization. 

    Gergely Bacsó

    Gergely Bacsó, Partner at McKinsey & Company, as coleader of Digital McKinsey in Central Europe, he advises clients on digital transformations and digitally enabled strategy, operations, sales, and marketing. Gergely is also a member of McKinsey’s Digital Banking leadership and the lead Partner and a member of the board of Panorama FinTech, a McKinsey Solution focused on innovation.
